Seeking a Senior Backend Developer to build and maintain complex distributed systems and microservices. Responsibilities include end-to-end development, system design, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Requires 5+ years of backend development experience with Python, Kubernetes, Docker, Elasticsearch, Redis, Kafka, and Linux. Experience with React is a plus. On-site position in Haifa District.
Responsibilities
- Backend development of distributed systems using Python.
- Development and maintenance of web-based microservices.
- Development and maintenance of system services and components.
- Work with messaging, caching, search, and storage technologies such as Kafka, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
- End-to-end responsibility for development tasks including design, quality, integrations, implementation, and customer support.
- Professional ownership of system components.
- Collaboration with other development, engineering, and testing teams.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 5 years of backend software development experience.
- At least 2 years of Python development.
- Experience with web-based systems using microservices architecture.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience in Linux environments.
- Experience with Elasticsearch, Redis, and Kafka.
Nice to have
- Experience with React.
