A financial services company specializing in non-bank credit for businesses is seeking a Data Analyst for its Risk Management department. The role involves developing statistical models, generating reports with SQL, and providing data-driven recommendations to improve performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain statistical models for financial risk assessment
- Generate reports and dashboards using SQL queries
- Explore and analyze data to identify trends and insights
- Provide recommendations to enhance business performance based on analysis
- Collaborate with a team of four analysts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant quantitative field (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Statistics)
- At least 1 year of experience as a research analyst
- Experience in building statistical models
- Proven proficiency in advanced SQL and Excel
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience with Python or SAS
