Join a cybersecurity technology company as a Backend Team Lead. You will head a backend team, drive architectural decisions, and build low-latency, high-concurrency server-side components. The role requires hands-on coding, mentoring, and a passion for performance optimization.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of experienced developers, fostering a self-driven culture.
- Design and build low-latency, high-concurrency server-side components.
- Drive architectural decisions and resolve complex performance, scalability, and infrastructure challenges.
- Implement AI-driven development methodologies to boost team productivity.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on server-side programming experience.
- 3+ years as a Software Team Lead or Tech Lead.
- Deep experience with production-critical, high-traffic environments (low SLA/high availability).
- Strong hands-on orientation with a passion for backend infrastructure and performance optimization.
- Calm, confident leadership style with excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.
- BSc in CS/EE/Math, military experience in an elite tech unit, or equivalent practical experience.
- Full proficiency in Hebrew and English.
Nice to have
- Experience with Python or Rust, with a strong desire to develop in Rust.
- Experience with AKS (Azure), Microservices, Kafka, Redis, RabbitMQ, Postgres, and CI/CD.
- Track record of adopting AI tools/methodologies within engineering teams.
