We are looking for a Backend Engineer to build the core backend systems and services that power an AI-powered container security platform. The role involves taking ownership of platform infrastructure, architecture, and technical decisions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the platform and infrastructure, building core backend systems and services
- Own the backend architecture, tech stack, and development processes
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software and implement best practices
- Lead complex projects in collaboration with Product Managers and other engineers
Requirements
- 6+ years of backend development experience
- Strong background in microservices-based architecture and distributed systems
- Extensive experience with cloud environments, particularly AWS
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
- Experience with databases and distributed messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Proven ability to optimize performance and scalability
- Excellent communication and cross-functional teamwork skills
