Join a rapidly growing SaaS company in the AdTech space. As a Backend Engineer in the Business Data & Dev Group, you will develop core services for a consumption-based billing platform, working with modern microservices on AWS and Kubernetes. Collaborate across R&D, Finance, and Product to deliver impactful solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end services from requirements to deployment and monitoring.
- Improve quality and identify weaknesses in existing processes and services.
- Participate in brainstorming and early-stage design sessions.
- Integrate AI workflows and solutions into the team and department.
- Mentor and collaborate with team members and other departments.
- Stay current with new technologies to inform technology choices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in backend software engineering.
- Strong experience with Node.js, Go, or Python.
- Practical understanding of big systems architecture and building resilient services with Kubernetes.
- Experience with SQL databases.
- Experience in public cloud environments, including managed AWS services (RDS, SQS, Athena, EMR).
- Practical experience with CLI and Docker, including building CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong team player with a sense of ownership and accountability.
- Continuous learning mindset and openness to new technologies.
- Ability to understand the big picture from technical and product perspectives.
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have
- Experience with NoSQL databases.
- 1+ year of experience with AI concepts and tools, integrating AI workflows into backend systems.
