Seeking a Backend Developer to join our team. Responsibilities include developing Java applications, writing Oracle PL/SQL code, optimizing database performance, and providing technical support to end users. The role involves collaboration with IT and infrastructure teams. On-site position in Rishon LeZion.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java-based applications.
- Write and optimize Oracle PL/SQL code, including Stored Procedures, Triggers, and Views.
- Provide application support to end users, investigate issues, and deliver solutions.
- Guide characterization, implementation, and upgrade processes for existing systems.
- Collaborate with IT, development, and infrastructure teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Java development.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
- Knowledge and experience with Linux/UNIX environments.
- Experience in technical support for end users.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, high service awareness, excellent interpersonal skills, and fast learning ability.
Nice to have
- Experience leading a development team.
- Experience developing interfaces or systems using Oracle APEX.
- Knowledge and experience with GraphQL.
- Familiarity with OpenShift.
- Security clearance – will be required if not already held.
