Design scalable backend services, APIs, and cloud infrastructure using Python, MongoDB, and Google Cloud. Oversee architecture, manage databases, Linux systems, and networks for retail self-checkout solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
- Manage and optimize MongoDB databases including design and performance tuning
- Architect, deploy, and maintain Google Cloud Platform environments
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines
- Containerize applications using Docker
- Administer Linux-based operating systems and environment configurations
- Oversee corporate network and secure connections to edge devices
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Python development with async programming (asyncio, aiohttp)
- Strong expertise in MongoDB administration and optimization
- Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform architecture and deployment
- Experience with Docker containerization
- Hands-on Linux system administration (Bash, Netplan)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, WebSockets, SSH) and fleet administration
Nice to have
- Familiarity with ERP and retail systems
- Experience with RFID technology and data integrations
- Background in frontend web development
- Basic understanding of UI/UX design for mobile and web
