Senior Deep Learning & Computer Vision Engineer
Lead the development of state-of-the-art computer vision and deep learning algorithms for advanced 3D machine vision and camera innovation. Manage full lifecycle of DL projects from research to production, optimize models for embedded platforms, and contribute to technology roadmaps.
Responsibilities
- Prototype, research, and develop advanced deep learning, 3D computer vision, and generative AI algorithms for camera imaging, robotics, and simulation.
- Manage the full lifecycle of deep learning projects from research and prototyping to deployment, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
- Optimize models for embedded and edge platforms (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson) to meet real-time constraints.
- Guide the adoption of emerging technologies to elevate new solutions.
- Stay at the forefront of developments in deep learning, computer vision, and generative AI.
- Contribute to technology roadmaps and R&D investment decisions.
Requirements
- MSc or PhD in Physics or Electrical Engineering.
- 8+ years of experience in deep learning and 3D computer vision with a track record of developing solutions from research to production.
- Proven in-depth experience with at least one of: diffusion-based generative AI, embodied AI, deep learning-based computer vision/image processing (e.g., segmentation, image restoration, monocular depth estimation), vision-language models, or physics-informed neural networks.
- Strong programming skills in Python, PyTorch, and OpenCV.
- Strong applied software engineering skills with experience in agile methodologies and quality-driven development.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with theoretical physical modeling or simulation.
- Experience with edge computing platforms (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson) and real-time system optimization.
- Extensive hands-on experience in developing and deploying deep learning-based software for camera systems, image processing, or video analysis.
- Experience with simulators (Gazebo, Isaac Sim, Unity) and real-world testing.
