Build and evolve an AI-native platform that generates district-specific curriculum, lessons, activities, and assessments at production scale. This hands-on individual contributor role partners with product and pedagogy in a remote team.
Responsibilities
- Build and evolve generation workflows for curriculum, units, lessons, activities, and assessments
- Design prompt architecture, context management, structured outputs, and multi-step generation flows
- Build agentic workflows and orchestration to improve quality, consistency, and efficiency
- Create evaluation, testing, and monitoring systems to identify quality issues and prevent regressions
- Make technical decisions on model selection, routing, cost, latency, reliability, and scale
- Develop systems for content adaptation, standards alignment, and differentiation
- Build and improve chat-based editing, optimization, and image-generation workflows
Requirements
- Experience shipping real products through AI-native development methods
- Hands-on expertise with generative AI systems, including prompt architecture, context management, and model orchestration
- Experience building reliable multi-step workflows, structured outputs, schemas, tool calling, retrieval, and agentic workflows
- Experience creating evaluation systems, quality checks, monitoring, and regression tests for AI-generated content
- Strong technical judgment across quality, stability, scale, latency, cost, and reliability
- Strong product judgment and the ability to learn complex domains independently
