Algorithm Engineer – Airborne Systems
Full-time Algorithm Engineer role in Northern Israel developing flight-control, guidance, and estimation algorithms for airborne systems. The role covers the full development lifecycle, including high-fidelity simulation, hardware testing, flight-test analysis, and collaboration with systems-engine:
Responsibilities
- Develop flight-control, guidance, and estimation algorithms for airborne systems.
- Support development from initial concept through testing on real hardware and flight trials.
- Develop comprehensive, high-fidelity simulations for the systems being developed.
- Interpret flight-test results and investigate system-level performance.
- Work as part of the project’s systems engineering team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mechanical engineering, aeronautics, electrical engineering, physics, or mathematics.
- At least 3 years of proven experience with flight or control algorithms.
- Understanding of physics and an aerodynamics or aviation background.
- Knowledge of control theory.
- Knowledge of C, C++, MATLAB, and Simulink.
- Full professional proficiency in Hebrew and English.
