Senior Machine Learning Engineer
Support and maintain machine learning capabilities for a SaaS platform that provides AI-driven pricing optimization. Ensure reliability, scalability, and explainability of production ML systems while enabling research teams to deliver faster.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure ML systems are robust, explainable, and business-aligned.
- Monitor and report on ML model performance, reliability, and explainability metrics.
- Automate and optimize MLOps pipelines, including model retraining.
- Scale monitoring pipelines to support new features and deployments.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production ML workflow issues from triage to root cause analysis.
- Develop and maintain repositories for feature engineering, inference monitoring, and artifact monitoring.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify and resolve data quality issues.
- Implement and oversee production-based adjusters across customer deployments.
- Evaluate and track critical ML artifacts including explainability files and coverage metrics.
- Build and maintain static and temporal features such as seasonality, events, and price-related features.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data science, ML operations, or applied ML support.
- Proficiency in Python and libraries such as Pandas/Polars, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and SQL.
- Strong experience with time-series data and feature engineering.
- Experience with model explainability tools and monitoring best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting across data, code, and model workflows.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with cloud-based ML platforms, preferably GCP.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Kedro, or Dagster.
- Prior exposure to demand forecasting, pricing, or revenue management.
- Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
