Seeking a Senior Applied AI Engineer to build, deploy, and maintain production-grade GenAI applications, including LLM-based systems, RAG pipelines, and AI Agents. Design scalable backend services, integrate AI, and ensure security. Collaborate across teams to deliver measurable business value. Location: Southern Israel.
Responsibilities
- Build, deploy, and maintain production-grade GenAI applications
- Develop LLM-based systems, RAG pipelines, and AI Agents
- Design scalable backend services and AI integrations
- Work with REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and Vector DBs
- Deploy solutions on AWS or Azure
- Collaborate across business and technology teams to turn AI capabilities into measurable business value
- Build secure AI solutions addressing prompt injection, data privacy, and authorization
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant engineering field
- 5+ years of hands-on Python development
- Proven experience developing, deploying, and maintaining LLM applications, RAG pipelines, and AI Agents in production
- Experience with REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL, and Vector Databases (Pinecone, Qdrant, Chroma, Weaviate, FAISS)
- Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React
- Strong understanding of AI security, privacy, and authorization challenges
Nice to have
- Experience with embeddings optimization, chunking strategies, re-ranking, hallucination mitigation, and AI evaluation tools
- Familiarity with MCP, LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen
- Experience leading AI transformation, technology consulting, or organizational change
