Robotics AI Engineer
Seeking a Robotics AI Engineer to design and deploy deep learning models for robot perception and visuomotor control. Focus on 3D scene understanding, sim-to-real transfer, and production reliability of the AI stack for vehicle inspection.
Responsibilities
- Design and train deep learning models for 3D scene understanding, vehicle pose estimation, and occlusion handling.
- Develop visuomotor and policy models for sensor positioning, navigation, and manipulation.
- Adapt and integrate existing inspection models onto the robotic platform.
- Build sim-to-real pipelines and conduct experiments in simulation and on real hardware.
- Own technical quality and reliability of the AI stack from prototype to production.
Requirements
- 4+ years of industry experience in robotics, perception, or applied ML with deep learning models in production.
- Strong background in 3D vision (SLAM, depth estimation, point clouds, NeRF), robot learning (visuomotor policies, imitation, RL), or manipulation.
- Hands-on experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow for model training and deployment.
- Experience with simulation tools (Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, Gazebo) and running models on real robotic hardware.
- Strong Python skills; familiarity with ROS or ROS 2 is an advantage.
- Comfortable with unexplored territory and hardware-in-the-loop iteration.
