Lead the design and development of AI/ML platform infrastructure. Drive complex technical projects, set architectural direction, and mentor engineers. Collaborate with algo, product, and engineering to deliver robust, scalable AI solutions for healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Build and evolve AI-specific infrastructure for model training and serving.
- Lead hands-on technical work, setting high standards for code quality and design.
- Own project architecture and key technical decisions.
- Promote engineering excellence and mentorship.
- Communicate goals and technical decisions across stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Algo, Product, and Engineering teams.
- Evaluate and adopt new tools and frameworks to improve MLOps and cloud infrastructure.
Requirements
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with technical ownership of complex systems.
- Proven experience designing and delivering AI systems from architecture to deployment.
- Ability to lead technical projects and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong proficiency in Python and modern ML/DL frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals (system design, distributed systems, performance).
- Familiarity with cloud and MLOps environments (Docker, Kubernetes, model-serving frameworks).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
