Design and improve physical connectivity products, collaborating across mechanical, electronics, hardware, and software engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Design copper panels, fiber trays, and smart physical enclosures using 3D CAD tools
- Prepare manufacturing drawings, bills of materials, and assembly instructions
- Support material selection and manufacturing process evaluation
- Participate in prototyping, design improvements, and mechanical troubleshooting
- Integrate LED indicators, sensors, controller cards, and other electronic components into mechanical designs
- Set up test environments and perform quality testing of prototypes
- Evaluate fit, durability, functionality, and performance
- Identify design or manufacturing issues and implement solutions with cross-functional teams
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering
- 2–5 years of relevant experience; strong fresh graduates with practical experience are also encouraged to apply
- Familiarity with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor
- Strong technical orientation and willingness to work hands-on with physical products and prototypes
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Nice to have
- Experience or interest in graphic or product design
- Hands-on academic projects, internships, or practical experience
- Experience with sheet metal fabrication or plastic injection molding
