Lead product design for an AI-powered clinical platform. Define design vision, mentor a team of senior designers, and create intuitive clinical experiences that improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the product design vision, principles, and strategy.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of three senior product designers.
- Develop deep understanding of clinical workflows and translate complex challenges into intuitive product experiences.
- Stay hands-on with high-impact and complex design challenges from discovery to execution.
- Build a research-driven design culture centered on customer and workflow understanding.
- Shape AI-native experiences that fit naturally into clinicians’ daily workflows.
- Partner with product, engineering, clinical, and executive leadership to influence product strategy.
- Establish and evolve best practices for UX research, usability testing, design systems, and validation.
- Raise the bar for craft, consistency, and product experience.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in product design, ideally on complex B2B, enterprise, or SaaS products.
- 3+ years of experience managing product designers, including coaching senior-level designers.
- Strong hands-on product design expertise across discovery, UX, interaction design, prototyping, and delivery.
- Track record of owning complex product experiences and translating ambiguous problems into clear solutions.
- Deep experience with user research, customer discovery, and usability testing.
- Experience building or evolving design systems and scalable design practices.
- Strong product thinking and systems thinking, with ability to influence product strategy.
- Experience partnering closely with senior product and engineering leaders.
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain design decisions and create alignment.
