GIS Data Administrator
Responsible for operating and implementing GIS information systems, including data entry, updates, documentation, report generation, data analysis, and data quality improvements. Troubleshoots system issues, conducts asset surveys, and proposes process optimizations.
Responsibilities
- Input and update data in information systems according to guidelines.
- Maintain, document, and retrieve instructions and updates in computerized systems.
- Generate reports, analyze data, and compare information between systems.
- Identify erroneous data, correct it, and perform data quality processes.
- Conduct inquiries with unit personnel and relevant interfaces in the organization.
- Handle faults and problems in the system with professional entities and the software supplier.
- Suggest solutions and ideas for improving work processes.
- Conduct asset surveys at organization sites.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in operating information systems, including 1 year with geographic systems.
- Experience in report generation and data analysis from computerized systems.
- Experience in performing data quality processes.
- Experience in handling faults and working with software suppliers and professional entities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Technological orientation and ability to quickly learn computing systems.
- Independent learning and conduct within professional and managerial guidelines.
- Responsibility, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal skills and teamwork.
- High written and oral expression ability.
- High service awareness.
Nice to have
- More than half a year of experience with GIS systems – significant advantage.
