Responsible for operational SQL Server database administration, including complex T-SQL queries, backup and recovery, performance monitoring and tuning, Always On Availability Groups, clustering, replication, and PowerShell scripting. Preferred familiarity with SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, and security management.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases in production environments
- Develop and optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers
- Perform backup, recovery, and performance tuning activities
- Implement and manage high availability solutions such as Always On Availability Groups and clustering
- Configure and monitor replication
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell scripting
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as an operational/production DBA with Microsoft SQL Server
- Strong knowledge of T-SQL, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and Windows Server
- Experience with backup, restore, monitoring, tuning, and optimization in production
- Experience with Always On, clustering, replication, and PowerShell
Nice to have
- Experience or familiarity with SSIS, SSRS, SSAS
- Knowledge of SQL Server security and permissions management
