Join a cybersecurity research and analytics team in a hybrid Tel Aviv role. Analyze large-scale security data, investigate emerging threats, and develop Python-based tooling to strengthen threat detection.
Responsibilities
- Conduct open-ended threat intelligence research into emerging cyber threats, attack vectors, and device vulnerabilities
- Analyze large-scale security datasets and query internal databases using SQL
- Develop automated data scrapers, pipelines, and API query tools in Python
- Enrich threat intelligence repositories with structured analytical data
- Collaborate with security researchers, data scientists, and R&D teams
- Translate analytical findings into active detection mechanisms
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent exact science field
- At least 5 years of practical SQL experience
- At least 3 years of hands-on Python experience, including Pandas, data analysis, data scraping, and API querying
- Deep familiarity with cyber threats, software vulnerabilities including CVEs, and attack techniques
- Experience extracting insights from data and conducting open-ended research
- Professional-level written and verbal English proficiency
- Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving abilities with high autonomy and ownership
Nice to have
- Familiarity with computer networks, protocols, and network traffic analysis
