Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale genomic data
- Develop and optimize bioinformatics pipelines and algorithms
- Work with sequencing data, genomic databases, and variant analysis
- Collaborate with researchers, software engineers, and medical professionals
Requirements
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genetics, Biology, or a related field
- Strong Python programming skills
- Experience analyzing genomic and sequencing data
- Experience with bioinformatics tools, pipelines, and databases
- High-level proficiency in Linux environments
- Experience working with large datasets
Nice to have
- Experience with WGS and variant interpretation
- Familiarity with FASTQ, BAM/CRAM, and VCF formats
- Experience with NGS pipelines and tools such as GATK, DRAGEN, or similar
- Experience with cloud environments and distributed systems
- Experience with AI, machine learning, or statistical genetics
