Data Scientist
Join the credit card and payment products team to develop complex predictive models, analyze big data, and deliver actionable business insights. You will work with machine learning, Python, and SQL to improve product performance and identify new opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Work with big data and develop machine learning algorithms to identify trends in credit cards, digital wallets, and advanced payment methods
- Identify business challenges where data can improve decision-making in credit risk management, clearing volumes, and customer churn
- Develop models for churn prediction, product acquisition, card usage, campaign response, consumer behavior, sales increase, personalization, and recommendations
- Develop models and control processes for reconciliation with payment companies and business partners
- Locate and collect internal data sources such as transaction history, credit usage, digital channels, and external sources like competitor banks and market trends
- Build additional data repositories, characterize and define information presentation for decision makers
- Manage and control unit revenues, analyze revenues across various layers (cross fees, card fees, interest, foreign exchange) alongside operating expenses
- Present insights and business recommendations to management and stakeholders
Requirements
- Relevant bachelor's degree (Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering with Information Systems specialization)
- Graduate of a recognized Data Scientist training program (military, universities, advanced analytics companies)
- At least 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist in a large financial organization (advantage to banks and credit card companies)
- Proven experience in developing machine learning models
- Proficiency in Python and libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn
- Experience with SQL and analysis on large databases
- Familiarity with statistical methods, data mining, and model performance evaluation
- Experience using AI tools
- Experience with BI tools and data visualization
