Join a deep-tech startup at the intersection of AI, mathematical modeling, and biotechnology. As a core member of the R&D team, you will drive algorithmic innovation in scientific ML and optimization, developing hybrid models combining physical principles with machine learning, and building agentic platforms in cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop hybrid algorithmic models that integrate mechanistic principles with machine learning techniques such as PINNs and Neural ODEs.
- Solve complex challenges in numerical optimization, optimal control, uncertainty quantification, and stochastic simulation.
- Build enterprise-grade agentic platforms, AI agent architectures using tools like LangGraph and Claude Agents SDK, and production data pipelines on cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) with Docker and CI/CD.
- Translate scientific and biological domain requirements into robust, production-ready algorithmic solutions.
Requirements
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Bioengineering, or a related exact science discipline.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience as an Algorithms Engineer, Applied Researcher, Data Scientist, or Scientific ML Specialist.
- Proven expertise in numerical optimization, optimal control, mathematical modeling, or algorithmic modeling.
- Strong background in developing end-to-end machine learning algorithms.
Nice to have
- Experience with production-grade engineering practices, including cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), Docker, and CI/CD.
- Familiarity with modern agentic AI frameworks such as LangGraph or Claude Agents SDK.
