Seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design and implement a scalable data platform for analytics and AI. You will build and operate end-to-end data pipelines, own the semantic layer and metric definitions, ensure data quality and reliability, and collaborate with Product and Data teams.
Responsibilities
- Build and operate end-to-end data pipelines (batch and streaming)
- Design and evolve the data platform (data warehouse/lake, orchestration, and transformations)
- Own the implementation of the semantic layer and metric definitions, establishing a single source of truth
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance at scale
- Collaborate with Product and Data teams to deliver impactful data solutions
- Enable AI/ML use cases with high-quality, well-structured data
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
- Hands-on experience with modern data stack tools (Airflow, dbt, Spark, BigQuery/Redshift/Snowflake)
- Proven experience building scalable data platforms and pipelines
- Strong data modeling skills and a metrics ownership mindset
Nice to have
- Experience with ML / LLM pipelines
- Experience with complex domains (e.g., healthcare, FHIR, ontologies)
