Design, build, and maintain high-throughput backend services and data platforms processing massive security-critical data. Work on distributed systems, big-data pipelines, performance optimization, and next-generation data architecture. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend services processing large data volumes with high throughput and reliability
- Build and maintain distributed, scalable, fault-tolerant systems
- Work hands-on with big-data and streaming technologies
- Translate business needs into performant, scalable architectures in collaboration with teams
- Conduct design and code reviews to maintain engineering standards
- Continuously optimize system performance, reliability, and observability
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience
- Strong foundation in databases (SQL/NoSQL), caching, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud environments
- Experience with distributed systems and/or large-scale data processing
- Experience using AI-assisted coding tools effectively
- Strong sense of ownership, attention to quality, and collaborative mindset
Nice to have
- Java or C# programming
- Azure cloud experience
- Azure Data Explorer experience
