Seeking an experienced Data Engineering Team Lead to lead end-to-end data solutions, mentor engineers, and work with Databricks, Python, SQL, and cloud platforms in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Data Engineers.
- Own planning, architecture, and development of end-to-end data solutions.
- Extensive work with Databricks, leading platform-based solutions.
- Work on multiple tasks and projects concurrently, transitioning between clients and technologies.
- Provide mentoring, guidance, and professional development for team members.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders, translating requirements into data solutions.
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with significant Senior/Tech Lead/Team Lead experience.
- Proven experience with Databricks.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Deep knowledge of modern data architectures.
- Practical experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Proven track record in professional/technical leadership of Data Engineers.
Nice to have
- Experience leading end-to-end technical projects.
- Background in consulting firm, project-based company, or multi-client environment.
