Lead a data engineering team and enterprise data platform, overseeing ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and cloud migration. Requires 5+ years experience, proficiency in SQL, and hands-on with Teradata, Informatica, Snowflake.
Responsibilities
- Lead the data engineering team and manage Data Engineers and DBAs.
- Develop, maintain, and improve complex ETL/ELT data processes.
- Manage data ingestion from various source systems, including SAP and digital systems.
- Manage and develop the existing enterprise data warehouse (DWH) based on Teradata and Informatica.
- Lead the gradual migration of the data platform to cloud environments, including Snowflake and Databricks.
- Design data architecture, define best practices, and lead migration processes.
- Oversee data modeling, data quality, performance optimization, and cost optimization.
- Define engineering standards, data layers, and orchestration processes.
- Collaborate with BI & Analytics teams and business/technology stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Platform.
- Significant experience with enterprise DWH such as Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, or Snowflake.
- Experience in building and developing complex ETL/ELT processes.
- Experience with Informatica or equivalent ETL tools.
- High proficiency in SQL.
- Experience in team management or technical leadership.
Nice to have
- Experience with complex ERP systems, especially SAP.
- Experience with Snowflake and/or Databricks.
- Experience in Cloud Migration processes.
- Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow, dbt, or Pipelines.
- Familiarity with Power BI and other BI tools.
