Lead data analysis initiatives, build scalable dashboards, and foster data-driven decisions in a global medical device company.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary contact for data analysis, focusing on Finance and Commercial data.
- Gather requirements and translate them into actionable dashboards and reports.
- Design, develop, and maintain reliable, scalable dashboards and data solutions.
- Author high-quality design documents for reports and semantic layers.
- Establish and enforce robust data governance for integrity, privacy, and compliance.
- Partner with stakeholders to surface actionable insights through regular data reviews.
- Lead and mentor business data analysts, ensuring consistent methodologies and best practices.
- Monitor and improve data quality, resolving discrepancies across reporting systems.
- Collaborate with IT and Data Engineering to integrate and optimize data sources.
- Stay current with emerging data technologies and promote a data-driven culture.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Information Systems or a similar field.
- Minimum 5 years of BI/Data Analyst experience in a global company.
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI.
- Proficiency in SQL and data querying.
- Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality, and metadata management.
- Strong data modeling skills, translating business requirements into technical designs.
- Proven experience with Snowflake and DBT in a modern cloud data stack.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong business understanding of finance, commercial, and operations practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
