Lead the analysis and specification of business information needs, translating requirements into actionable data and BI solutions. Drive data integration, mapping, and modernization initiatives, working closely with business stakeholders and development teams. Contribute to methodology and standards in a large-scale, data-rich environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead analysis and specification of information needs with business clients and technology units.
- Translate business requirements into practical and measurable data solutions.
- Design data integration processes, analytical models, and BI solutions.
- Write functional and technical specification documents, including source-to-target and data mappings.
- Perform data analysis and investigate complex data sources.
- Support development, testing, and implementation teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work with diverse data sources and core systems in the insurance domain.
- Drive modernization and innovation in data and cloud.
- Promote standards and methodologies in systems analysis and data.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Data Systems Analysis, BI/DWH, or Data Analytics.
- High proficiency in SQL.
- Experience in specifying ETL/ELT processes and source-to-target mappings.
- Experience working with business clients and leading requirements gathering and analysis.
- Ability to understand complex business processes and think systemically.
- Ability to lead and drive tasks across multiple interfaces.
- Independent work capability alongside teamwork in a dynamic environment.
Nice to have
- Experience in large, multi-system organizations.
- Familiarity with insurance, finance, or regulatory domains.
- Experience with AWS.
- Familiarity with Informatica, Tableau, Power BI, or other advanced BI tools.
- Experience with complex data models and Data Lake/DWH architectures.
- Knowledge of Data Governance, Data Lineage, and Data Quality processes.
- Experience in Agile environments.
