Technical Product Manager – Cloud & Virtualized Infrastructure
Responsible for product management of cloud and virtualized infrastructure components for a railway communication system. Drive integration, optimization, and lifecycle management, specifying technical design for availability, performance, and capacity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end functionality.
Responsibilities
- Introduce, integrate, and optimize FRMCS system technology components for cloud/virtualized infrastructure to ensure end-to-end functionality
- Plan, implement, and control the integration process across the entire product lifecycle of FRMCS system technology components
- Own product management for FRMCS cloud/virtualized infrastructure components, driving technical and economic optimizations with operational and safety considerations
- Specify technical design for system management components regarding availability, performance, capacity, and standards, including lab testing
- Create and maintain FRMCS regulations, assessing necessity, depth, timeliness, risk, and economic impact
- Develop planning bases for cloud/virtualized infrastructure and establish data-driven product management using effect network data
- Support pilot projects for introducing new FRMCS system technology components
Requirements
- University degree in engineering, e.g., industrial engineering, telecommunications, physics, or a comparable field
- Experience in development or product management of cloud/virtualized infrastructure components in design, test, or research (mobile communications)
- Solid project management foundations and experience working in project environments
- Enthusiasm for planning and introducing new technologies in long-term projects
- Strong process understanding and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a solution-oriented mindset
- Proven team collaboration skills in interdisciplinary settings
