Senior Project Manager / Product Owner
Join an IT consultancy to lead cross-functional teams in delivering software projects. You will act as the central link between clients and development, ensuring project success through agile or hybrid methods. Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients and the development team, managing project execution from Munich or remotely.
- Oversee the content, timeline, and financial success of one or more projects, proactively fostering clarity.
- Lead a team of IT consultants, web developers, and UX experts using agile or hybrid methodologies.
- Organize and moderate workshops to gather client requirements and collaborate with the team to develop implementation proposals and effort estimates.
- Support presales activities and marketing by creating presentations and proposals.
- Identify optimization opportunities and address them directly.
- Define the overall project structure, including milestones, success criteria, communication channels, and risk plans, and take responsibility for scheduling and timeline management.
Requirements
- Successfully completed university degree or equivalent qualification, with a preference for a technical focus.
- Relevant and adequate experience with the flexibility to adopt either classic or agile project management roles as needed.
- Solid knowledge of classic and agile project management methods, with any project management certification being advantageous.
- Ability to communicate effectively with different target groups and maintain clarity in challenging situations.
- Analytical and structured thinking, organizational skills, result- and solution-orientation, independence, and confident demeanor.
- Enthusiasm for agile software development, new technical challenges, and teamwork.
- Proficient German and very good English skills, both written and spoken.
