Product Owner IAM & PAM
Seeking a Product Owner to define and drive the strategic vision for Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) platforms at a global biotechnology company. This role oversees SailPoint and CyberArk systems, ensuring security, compliance, and operational excellence while collaborating with IT, security, and business teams.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the strategic vision for IAM and PAM platforms such as SailPoint IIQ and CyberArk, ensuring alignment with security objectives.
- Act as the key decision maker for all IAM/PAM initiatives, including onboarding applications, introducing processes, or replacing products.
- Evaluate platform features to prioritize improvements based on business needs, compliance requirements, and emerging trends.
- Oversee external service providers to ensure incidents and operational tasks meet agreed standards.
- Make operational decisions on patch approvals and incident prioritization, ensuring system reliability and compliance.
- Continuously enhance IAM/PAM processes like user provisioning, privileged account monitoring, and lifecycle management.
- Collaborate across IT, security, and business units to ensure solutions meet organizational goals.
- Deliver regular performance insights to leadership while identifying risks and opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) or Privileged Access Management (PAM), ideally 5–7 years in a Product Owner or similar role.
- Hands-on expertise with platforms such as SailPoint IIQ or CyberArk, alongside knowledge of security frameworks and protocols.
- Proven ability to manage external service providers while ensuring contract adherence and operational excellence.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory; German language skills are a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and tools like Jira is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration between technical teams and business units.
