Product Manager (m/f/d)
As a Product Manager, you will define the strategic direction of the heavy tracked vehicle portfolio, ensuring economic viability and collaborating across sales, engineering, and operations. The company is a leading defense technology firm.
Responsibilities
- Capture operational-tactical customer requirements for heavy tracked vehicles (e.g., Panther, Büffel, Kodiak, PHz2000) as the technical lead in the product management team.
- Translate customer feedback into clear requirements for the engineering organization.
- Coach colleagues in product management methods such as Concept of Use, roadmaps, and Standard Battle Days.
- Systematically link market requirements, innovation roadmaps, and commercial goals.
- Provide thought leadership for portfolio development and own the 'Common Base' platform strategy.
- Advise internal interfaces including sales, development, procurement, and service.
Requirements
- Master's degree in engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable field.
- Strong knowledge of product management methods, especially for capturing customer needs.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel with the ability to summarize complex information for management presentations.
- Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across all hierarchy levels, departments, and teams.
- Structured, independent working style with high organizational skills, resilience, and pragmatism in project work.
- Willingness to travel.
