Product Manager - Configurators
Seeking a Product Manager to own the configurator product area for a major furniture and home furnishings retailer's digital unit. You will drive the product vision, manage the backlog, and collaborate with tech teams and stakeholders to deliver seamless omnichannel experiences.
Responsibilities
- Own the product backlog and prioritization for the configurator area in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Take end-to-end responsibility for the product area, from requirements gathering and conception through prioritization to implementation and handover to operations.
- Develop and steer the product roadmap and vision, considering business impact, feasibility, and dependencies.
- Work closely with development and architecture teams to structure requirements, translate them into actionable concepts, and ensure smooth handover.
- Coordinate internal and external development resources, plan deliverables, and closely monitor implementation.
- Moderate stakeholder discussions, resolve conflicting goals, and provide transparency on progress, priorities, risks, and dependencies.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in digital product management or comparable roles such as Product Owner, Application Owner/Manager, Project Manager, or Business Analyst.
- Strong product understanding with a focus on user needs, product quality, and measurable business impact.
- Structured, data-driven working style: pragmatic, strong prioritization skills, and confident handling of complex requirements.
- Confident stakeholder management in complex organizations, with the ability to moderate, drive decisions, and assert positions.
- Excellent communication skills and a high sense of responsibility, with very good German and English proficiency.
- Proficiency in agile and traditional methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and MS Office.
