Product Manager
Join a leading manufacturer of high-quality EPDM seals for windows, doors, gates, and facades. As Product Manager, you will drive product portfolio development, optimize processes, and act as the central interface between market, sales, and development.
Responsibilities
- Continuously develop the product portfolio and optimize internal and external interface processes.
- Support sales with technical customer inquiries, new customer projects, and product launches.
- Maintain product and market databases and ensure data availability across the organization.
- Create sales support materials such as data sheets, product folders, and catalogs.
- Serve as the central internal contact for customer and market-related issues.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new product and business opportunities.
- Manage the ideation process and support implementation in the product development process.
- Translate market and customer requirements into clear technical and product specifications.
- Actively participate in the product development process, lead projects, and coordinate interdisciplinary teams.
- Lead special projects, particularly in sustainability and carbon footprint topics.
- Create and maintain product training materials and deliver internal training sessions.
Requirements
- Completed university degree in industrial engineering or a comparable technical or business background.
- Several years of professional experience in product or project management after graduation is desirable.
- Technical knowledge in rubber or plastics or industry experience is advantageous.
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style.
- Enjoy teamwork with strong communication and intercultural competence.
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
- High IT affinity and professional MS Office skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (approx. 20%).
