Join a defense manufacturing company in Oberndorf, Germany, as a Product Manager. You will manage the product lifecycle, act as the interface between development and sales, and support weapon technology products. Requires a technical background, SAP proficiency, and willingness to travel.
Responsibilities
- Create configuration proposals based on customer requirements
- Act as the interface between development and sales for the assigned product segment
- Participate in meetings with development and quality assurance, such as project reviews, customer complaints, and design status updates
- Process input sheets and create specifications
- Administer market introduction, series support, and product phase-out
- Monitor the market in the respective product segment
- Develop and expand system approaches within the segment
- Support sales teams with technical questions
- Create, maintain, and deliver presentations and employee training
- Communicate in writing, by phone, and in person with manufacturers, sales representatives, customers, and partners
- Provide support at trade fairs and customer demonstrations
Requirements
- Completed technical education with additional commercial training
- Knowledge of weapon technology
- Very good English skills; additional foreign languages are an advantage
- Proficient in common office programs and SAP
- Careful and thorough working style
- High social competence, flexibility, resilience, and organizational skills
- Strong customer orientation
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on a temporary basis
