Head of Product - AI
Lead the product vision for AI-powered, autonomous features across a workforce management platform. Own customer discovery, roadmap, and cross-functional alignment, driving measurable business value for enterprise clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead structured customer discovery programs with enterprise clients, including executive interviews, on-site job shadowing, and quantitative surveys to surface deep pain points and unmet needs.
- Synthesize findings into crisp problem statements, opportunity assessments, and validated hypotheses for organizational action.
- Build and maintain a living customer insight repository tracking pain points, use case priorities, and willingness-to-pay signals across segments.
- Partner with customer success and sales to continuously harvest real-world feedback from pilot deployments and live agentic features.
- Define and own the multi-horizon roadmap for agentic AI features, from near-term human-in-the-loop capabilities to longer-range autonomous workflow orchestration.
- Translate customer pain points and strategic bets into a prioritized, outcomes-driven backlog with clear success metrics (adoption, time saved, error reduction, NPS).
- Balance innovation ambition with enterprise realities: compliance, data privacy (GDPR), auditability, and change management for large hourly worker populations.
- Stay at the forefront of LLM, agent frameworks, and WFM-adjacent AI to inform build, partner, or acquire decisions.
- Act as the strategic interface between C-suite sponsors, engineering, product leads, UX, legal, and go-to-market teams, keeping all parties aligned on priorities and trade-offs.
- Lead quarterly roadmap reviews with executive stakeholders.
- Represent the product externally at customer advisory boards, analyst briefings, and industry events as a thought leader on agentic WFM.
- Influence without direct authority, building consensus across competing priorities in a matrixed, fast-moving organization.
- Partner closely with engineering and design to move from discovery through definition, build, and launch using an agile delivery model.
- Define clear acceptance criteria and launch readiness gates for agentic features, including safety, hallucination, and escalation handling requirements.
- Drive go-to-market collaboration with Product Marketing and Sales Enablement to land feature launches with measurable commercial impact.
- Monitor post-launch performance against KPIs, iterate rapidly based on telemetry and customer feedback loops.
- Mentor other product owners and contribute to the maturity of the product culture and AI product practices.
- Communicate complex AI concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders, bridging the gap between technical feasibility and commercial value.
- Champion a customer-centric, evidence-based product culture that resists feature theatre and focuses on outcomes.
- Partner with the Pricing Manager to define and validate monetization models for agentic AI features, evaluating usage-based, outcome-based, and tiered subscription approaches.
- Translate customer value metrics into pricing anchors and willingness-to-pay hypotheses grounded in discovery data.
- Contribute to packaging decisions, defining what is bundled in the core platform versus positioned as a premium AI add-on.
- Track pricing performance post-launch, monitoring attach rates, expansion revenue, and price sensitivity signals, feeding insights back into pricing strategy.
