Global Product Manager IPC and I/O
Lead the global product management for IPC and I/O offerings at an automation machinery manufacturer. Drive portfolio strategy, lifecycle management, and go-to-market execution to achieve profitable growth.
Responsibilities
- Analyze market, competitor, and customer trends to identify opportunities and portfolio gaps, translating insights into actionable strategies.
- Drive development and optimization of the product portfolio by prioritizing new initiatives, defining positioning and value propositions, and leading cross-functional innovation.
- Develop and execute go-to-market, channel, and pricing strategies in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and channel partners to ensure consistent positioning and pricing across regions.
- Monitor sales performance, profitability, inventory levels, and market trends to support business growth and ensure reliable product availability.
- Build strong customer relationships and gather market feedback through direct engagement to continuously improve products and solutions.
- Initiate and support product training programs while ensuring clear communication of product value propositions to internal stakeholders, partners, and customers.
Requirements
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, with a solid technical background in automation technology.
- Several years of experience in product management in the industrial automation sector, including strategy definition, lifecycle management, and go-to-market execution.
- Familiarity with automation systems and machinery market.
- Proficient analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience working closely with R&D, Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities, with an entrepreneurial and initiative-driven mindset.
- Fluency in English; German is an asset.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
