Business Development Manager Service Innovation
Join a global leader in voice and respiratory care to drive service innovation. You will identify patient needs, develop new service concepts, and manage pilot projects to enhance quality of life for individuals with neck stomas.
Responsibilities
- Identify needs along the patient journey and develop innovative services for patients, relatives, and healthcare professionals
- Design, develop, and implement new service offerings and care concepts with measurable user value
- Create and evaluate business cases considering market potential, benefits, and scalability
- Plan, manage, and support pilot projects and market launches of new services
- Develop service processes, training concepts, and digital support tools
- Collaborate closely with internal interfaces such as sales, marketing, training, payer management, and back office
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners like clinics, healthcare professionals, homecare providers, specialist dealers, and payers
- Support the positioning and communication of new services in the market
- Analyze usage data, feedback, and KPIs to continuously optimize existing offerings
- Conduct market and competitive analyses and derive actionable recommendations
- Identify best practices and scale successful service concepts
- Participate in specialist events, congresses, and relevant industry events
Requirements
- Completed degree in healthcare, medical technology, business administration, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in business development, product or service development, or consulting
- Ideally experience in the medical technology, homecare, or healthcare industry
- Sound knowledge of the German healthcare system and relevant care structures and stakeholders
- Strong understanding of patient needs and clinical care processes
- Experience in project management and implementing complex, cross-functional initiatives
- Analytical and entrepreneurial thinking with experience in creating business cases and market analyses
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- High initiative, structured working style, and implementation strength
- Empathy, patient orientation, and the ability to inspire and engage various stakeholders
- Good English skills and proficient use of common MS Office applications
- Willingness to travel
