As a Product Engineer on the early core team, you'll build AI-powered tax and accounting solutions from scratch. You'll own major features end-to-end, influence the stack, and have high autonomy. Fast iteration, greenfield development, and path to leadership. Above-market compensation plus meaningful equity.
Responsibilities
- Ship major features and product lines end-to-end, from specification to delivery and measurement.
- Implement core APIs, data models, and user interfaces with pragmatic architecture decisions.
- Iterate rapidly, shipping initial versions and refining weekly based on user feedback.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth (optional leadership track).
Requirements
- 5+ years of web development with modern frameworks (e.g., Next.js, React, Vue, Node.js)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience in cross-functional agile teams with a product-oriented mindset
- Frontend focus with curiosity about backend technologies
- Proficiency with containerization (Docker) and deployment
- Deep integration of AI tools into daily coding workflows beyond autocompletion
- Excellent English communication skills (C1 minimum); German is a plus
- Valid work permit for Germany
