Responsible for leading R&D projects from concept to series production, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and according to quality standards. Operates in a multicultural, cross-functional environment focusing on product development, quality, safety, and cost optimization.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage projects for new platforms, subsystems, features, and product design.
- Drive cost reduction, safety improvements, and quality enhancements.
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams from definition through production approval.
- Present progress and results in steering committee meetings.
- Organize testing activities and pilot production runs.
- Apply project and quality management tools (project planning, FMEA, quality plans, test plans, corrective action tracking).
- Ensure project targets and milestones are achieved.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a mechanical or electrical engineer, including 2 years as project lead.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Analytical thinking and sound decision-making.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in matrix and cross-functional organizations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and reporting capabilities.
- Results-oriented with focus on quality and impact.
