Project Manager
Responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects from implementation to closeout, ensuring safety compliance, on-time delivery, and budget adherence. Acts as primary client contact, manages subcontractors and procurement, and drives project execution in a collaborative design-build environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide input on execution phases to meet client requirements
- Overall project management including purchase orders, subcontracts, equipment, insurance, permits, and bonds
- Collaborate with Project Planner, Design Engineer, and consultants on scheduling and drawings
- Initiate conflict resolution with subcontractors, suppliers, and employees
- Implement change requests from the client or as required for project completion
- Serve as primary project contact, liaising with the client from start to completion, including building inspections
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in engineering OR minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Coordinator/Project Manager in construction
- Understanding of fundamental business principles: financial, legal, and organizational
- Professional communication and creative problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management software
