Responsible for leading IT project planning, execution, and delivery within the energy industry. Manages stakeholders, budgets, risks, and quality. Ensures alignment with business goals. Requires 7+ years total IT experience with at least 5 years in project management. Bachelor's degree required; PMP/Prosci certifications preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans aligning with strategic goals.
- Lead project execution, managing teams, resources, and stakeholders.
- Engage with key stakeholders to communicate status, risks, and issues.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks; implement mitigations.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring delivery within financial constraints.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
- Identify process improvements and drive continuous improvement.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years total IT experience, with at least 5 years in IT project management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Strong project management and strategic leadership skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Nice to have
- Master's degree preferred.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, Prosci preferred.
- Experience within the energy sector preferred.
