A game developer and publisher is seeking a scout to identify promising indie PC games and studios, evaluate their product and commercial potential, and build relationships across the indie game ecosystem. Remote role.

- Scout promising indie games and studios through Steam, festivals, events, communities, accelerators, and other channels.
- Evaluate games and teams based on gameplay, audience, genre dynamics, competition, market fit, commercial potential, and risks.
- Monitor Steam trends, emerging mechanics, successful releases, and signals from gaming content and creators.
- Build and maintain developer relationships and introduce promising teams to the publishing team.
- Prepare recommendations and present opportunities to producers and business development colleagues.
- Develop a professional network across the indie ecosystem and represent the publisher at conferences and industry events.

- Deep knowledge of the indie PC market and strong gaming expertise across genres.
- Understanding of Steam analytics and experience using external market intelligence tools.
- Ability to assess product and commercial potential separately from personal taste.
- Strong networking and communication skills, including proactively approaching developers.
- Ability to work independently and build a scouting pipeline.
- Fluency in English and Russian.
