A game studio is hiring a Middle Texture Artist for a retro-futuristic realistic project. The role supports office or remote work and involves creating, integrating, and validating game textures.

תחומי אחריות

  • Texture assets of varying complexity, from small props to large architectural forms
  • Create textures using the Metallic/Roughness PBR workflow and layered materials
  • Import textures into Unreal Engine 5 and configure final shaders
  • Maintain accurate naming, organization, and storage of project content
  • Validate completed work using project-integrated tools
  • Maintain the project's visual style
  • Collaborate closely with the project art lead

דרישות

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Texture or Material Artist
  • Current portfolio required
  • Strong knowledge of PBR texturing principles for 3D assets, including UVs, UDIMs, texel density, texture formats, and bit depth
  • Confident use of Substance Painter
  • Ability to review UVs and identify or communicate problem areas
  • Experience texturing varied surfaces, including props, vehicles, architecture, and hard-surface organic assets
  • Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop or a comparable 2D graphics editor
  • Ability to estimate task completion time realistically
  • Clear, calm, and constructive communication skills

  • Experience with Unreal Engine 4 or 5
  • Substance Designer and material creation skills
  • 2D and 3D content production experience
  • UV creation with RizomUV or another 3D content package
  • Experience with Jira or other task trackers
  • Experience with Perforce, Plastic SCM, GitHub, or similar version-control systems
  • Basic English for reading technical documentation
  • A powerful computer for remote work
