A mobile game studio is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to improve the technical and product quality of its Android and iOS games. - Perform comprehensive manual testing of mobile games on Android and iOS, including functional, integration, UX/UI, compatibility, localization, and basic load testing
- Plan and execute regression testing for releases and hotfixes, prioritizing tests and risk areas
- Create and maintain test plans, checklists, test cases, and test reports
- Write detailed bug reports, track issue lifecycles, and verify fixes
- Review requirements and game design documents, assess risks, and recommend quality improvements before implementation
- Collaborate with developers, game designers, analysts, and producers to improve product quality and testing processes
- Participate in production incident analysis and root cause investigations
- Structure test cases by feature and release, maintain coverage, and keep documentation current

- 4–5+ years of experience testing mobile games, including commercial iOS and Android releases
- Strong understanding of the game development lifecycle, from prototyping and soft launch through global release and live operations
- Experience owning features through requirements, planning, test coverage, testing, release support, and post-release quality control
- Experience with client-server game architecture, including authentication, progression, matchmaking, and in-game events
- Experience with Unity or comparable game engines, including test build validation and basic issue diagnosis
- Experience testing monetization features such as in-app purchases, subscriptions, advertising, and third-party SDK integrations
- Experience with Git-based version control and basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines
- Confident use of API and traffic analysis tools such as Postman and Charles Proxy
- Practical experience with analytics platforms such as Firebase Analytics, AppsFlyer, Adjust, or Amplitude
- Strong experience with Jira and Confluence
- Experience maintaining test documentation in TestRail or comparable systems such as Qase, Zephyr, Xray, or Testmo
- Analytical, logical, proactive, and effective in communicating quality risks and recommendations
