Configuration Control and PDM Specialist

Own product data architecture, engineering change processes, BOM integrity, and configuration management across hardware development and production lifecycles. Coordinate with engineering, quality, supply chain, manufacturing, and international manufacturing partners.

- Build and maintain multi-level product configurations, system assemblies, and hardware and firmware revision matrices.
- Lead the end-to-end Change Control Board process, including ECOs, MCOs, deviations, and stop-ship directives.
- Identify PDM and contract-manufacturer bottlenecks and implement AI-supported workflow automations.
- Enforce part taxonomy, lifecycle states, and configuration processes across engineering, quality, supply chain, and manufacturing teams.
- Transfer and synchronize approved BOMs, schematics, fabrication drawings, and test specifications with manufacturing partners.
- Audit the product data database, resolve configuration discrepancies, and maintain it as the single source of truth.

- At least 4 years of hands-on experience administering and operating enterprise PLM systems, specifically Arena PLM and Oracle Agile PLM.
- Expertise in multi-level BOMs, product lifecycle states, alternate and second-source components, effectivity dating, and disposition strategies.
- Experience using AI tools, LLM-based agents, or automated data-extraction tools to develop workflow automations.
- Strong analytical skills and a high standard of data accuracy and configuration integrity.
- Ability to manage complex, fast-paced hardware programs with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal English for cross-functional reviews and coordination with international manufacturing partners.

- Experience in networking hardware, telecommunications, high-density switching, or complex electronic systems.
- Familiarity with ERP integration, including NetSuite or Fusion, with PLM platforms.
- Knowledge of RoHS, REACH, and conflict-minerals compliance attributes in PLM systems.
