Lead experimental engineering and end-to-end system validation for autonomous drone platforms and other complex multidisciplinary systems. Own requirements traceability, test planning, hands-on execution, analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement while developing the validation team.

- Own validation activities from requirements analysis through planning, execution, analysis, reporting, and closure.
- Define test objectives, scenarios, methods, instrumentation, and pass/fail criteria with systems engineering and R&D teams.
- Create test plans, procedures, readiness checklists, and traceable final reports.
- Plan and lead laboratory, ground, field, and flight-test campaigns for UAVs, docking stations, payloads, communications systems, and subsystems.
- Ensure readiness of configurations, equipment, instrumentation, safety procedures, range logistics, personnel, and data collection.
- Lead hands-on testing, troubleshoot issues in real time, and make engineering decisions in dynamic field environments.
- Analyze telemetry, logs, measurements, and system behavior to identify failures, trends, root causes, and investigation gaps.
- Lead post-test debriefs, lessons learned, corrective actions, and regression or verification activities.
- Lead and develop the test team, establish standards, prioritize work, and improve validation methodology.
דרישות
- B.Sc. in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in system testing, validation, integration, or experimental engineering for complex multidisciplinary systems.
- Experience independently defining and documenting engineering tests, including objectives, procedures, acceptance criteria, and reports.
- Strong hands-on capability across hardware, software, sensors, communications, instrumentation, and system integration.
- Experience analyzing system logs and test data and converting findings into engineering conclusions and actions.
- Experience building, managing, and developing test or validation engineering teams.
- Excellent English communication and technical documentation skills.
