Lead proactive contract, claims, and risk management for rail projects, working closely with project teams to protect commercial interests and meet contractual obligations. The role may include leading contract-management staff and requires travel of up to 20–30%.

  • Develop and implement contract, claims, and risk-mitigation strategies aligned with project and business objectives.
  • Analyze contracts, maintain contract summaries and strategy plans, and ensure project teams understand contractual requirements.
  • Monitor obligations, milestones, notices, variations, change orders, extensions of time, and claims; drive these matters toward resolution.
  • Prepare and maintain claim files, supporting records, correspondence, variation registers, commercial offers, and contractual notices.
  • Manage project-specific commercial procedures and insurance matters, coordinating with project teams and regional insurance management.
  • Advise project leadership on contractual risks, claim opportunities, commercial issues, and mitigation actions; report on contract-management performance and KPIs.
  • Support dispute resolution proceedings and assist legal teams or external counsel with litigation matters.
  • Train project stakeholders and develop contract-management capability across the project team.

דרישות

  • Degree in law, engineering, finance, a technical field, economics, or business sciences.
  • At least 10 years of contract or claims management experience; project management experience is also noted.
  • Ability to interpret contracts, schedules, and technical specifications; understand project financials; and prepare reports and correspondence.
  • Knowledge of contract-management systems, project-management software, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
  • Able to travel up to 20–30% of the time.

יתרון

  • Experience in project management; contract and claims management experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Wall C.
