Environmental, Health and Safety Manager

Lead a contract-wide environmental, safety, and health program in Israel. Manage compliance, industrial hygiene, environmental monitoring, training, risk controls, inspections, corrective actions, reporting, and subcontractor oversight while supervising 6–12 ESH personnel.

- Establish and manage a contract-wide environmental, safety, and health management program.
- Oversee regulatory compliance, behavioral monitoring, industrial hygiene, environmental monitoring, and corrective actions.
- Develop training packages, deliver ESH and orientation training, measure effectiveness, and monitor compliance.
- Manage subcontractor ESH program monitoring and reporting.
- Conduct workplace inspections, audits, risk analyses, and root-cause analyses.
- Identify hazardous conditions, recommend abatement actions, and track corrective actions to completion.
- Review permits and regulatory requirements, including air, hazardous waste, and water documentation.
- Identify personal protective equipment, staffing, training, and budgetary resource requirements.
- Prepare corporate reports and monthly ESH performance metrics.
- Maintain ESH databases and standardized management-system documentation.
- Supervise and mentor 6–12 ESH specialists, inspectors, or instructors.
- Communicate ESH requirements and findings to senior management, supervisors, regulators, and other stakeholders.
- Implement employee reward and recognition initiatives.
דרישות
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental studies, safety engineering, environmental health, industrial hygiene, engineering, or a related science field.
- At least six years of experience as an environmental, safety, or health engineer.
- At least two years of experience developing environmental, safety, and health programs.
- Experience with behavior-based management systems and standards such as ANSI Z10, ISO 45001, or ISO 14001.
- Knowledge of Department of Defense, Army, EPA, federal, and other applicable environmental and occupational safety regulations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with spreadsheet, database, word-processing, and presentation applications.
- Ability to work independently and manage resources effectively.
- Ability to work in extreme heat, harsh outdoor and industrial environments, and use required personal protective equipment.
- Ability to perform medium physical work, including lifting, stooping, climbing, and prolonged standing or sitting.
