Senior Product Manager, Vertical Search

Lead the end-to-end development of vertical search products for an AI developer platform. Identify valuable industries and use cases, evaluate data sources, translate customer workflows into product specifications, and drive products from market discovery through adoption and revenue.

- Own the vertical product roadmap, investment decisions, and prioritization across industries and use cases
- Define product surfaces that tailor search and data products to customer workflows
- Identify and evaluate public and paid data providers, including data quality and investment potential
- Conduct customer discovery to understand industry workflows and convert findings into engineering-ready specifications
- Define quality standards for answers and use cases with the evaluation team
- Partner with customer success to understand customer requests, retention drivers, and churn factors
- Collaborate with search leadership on ranking and result shaping for each use case
- Work with engineering, research, data, and go-to-market teams to ship products and drive adoption and revenue

- At least 5 years of product management experience, including substantial experience with search, data, or industry-specific AI products
- Experience building products for a specific industry or use case, with sufficient technical depth to assess underlying data quality, sources, and usability
- Demonstrated customer discovery experience and a track record of shipping products based on customer insights
- Experience in API-first or developer-platform businesses
- Strong understanding of large language models, AI agents, search, and retrieval systems in agentic workflows
- Technical background through a computer science or engineering degree or equivalent hands-on experience
- Ability to engage deeply with technical architecture and trade-offs
- Ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders without formal authority

- Background with a data provider, enrichment vendor, market intelligence platform, or vertical search company
- Experience evaluating external data providers, including assessing quality and negotiating requirements
